We had the privilege of speaking with Para sport legend Tiziana Nasi 🇮🇹, who played a key role in Italy’s successful bid to host the 2006 Paralympic Winter Games. ❄️🏔️
After beginning her career in winter sports in 1982, Tiziana went on to build an extraordinary legacy in the Paralympic Movement, including serving as President of the Piedmontese Paralympic Committee before being elected President of the Torino 2006 Paralympic Winter Games.
Her leadership and dedication have helped shape the growth of the Paralympic Movement, and it’s incredible to see how far it has come since the Games were last held in Italy 20 years ago. 🌍✨
We’re so grateful for leaders like Tiziana who work tirelessly behind the scenes, continuing to champion pathways and opportunities for disabled athletes around the world. ❤️💙💚
